Day 34: SCRAPBOOK EXPO COUNTDOWN
Oh my I have totally left a lot of days out. I have been super busy at work last week so there wasn't much time for posting. I am sorry for the delay. So on with the post.
Budget Scrapbooking. Well with the EXPO creeping upon us, we are all looking for a good bargain. Keep in mind you don't have to have the latset and greatest tools or scrapbook products on the market. Even though everyone seems to bu rushing to buy it. Keep in mind if you wait a little while. The new will wear off and it will be on sale. I ran up on this site and it explains lots of different ways to scrapbook on a budget. Or at least keep your hobby on a budget. Please feel free to comment on your budget scrapbooking tips and ideas. Below is the link.

Day 39: SCRAPBOOKEXPO COUNTDOWN

Ok ok ok I missed posting this weekedn so we missed 2 days. But this post will be long enough to account for all of those days I'm sure.
Ok have you decided on what classes to take at the expo? Looks there are a lot to choose from to. Also remember you can register early on-line or at the door. But if you really want a class register on-line! There will be something open at the door for classes, there usually are some still left. Anywho hope all those that are going has a great time and stay safe!!

Day 42: SCRAPBOOKEXPO COUNTDOWN
Remember Scrap Yard 329? Well they were the ones who has the wild scrapbook papers that were bones, and pirates. They will be previewing at the expo again. I liked looking at all the creativity that they had with the wild colors of hot pink and black. Skull and crossbones. WIERD...

Also the other item that I personally purchased was the paper taker box. It was made out of clear corrigated boarding. And it had a handle on it. I keep my 12x12 paper in it. Let me tell you if you get to expo, better go there 1st and get one of those. It will help for the rest of the day with all that paper shopping.

Day 43: SCRAPBOOKEXPO COUNTDOWN
Ok I guess Provocraft has out done it yet again.
The new cart out now that I liked was SESAME STREET>>>> Yeah well thats what I grew up on. IMAGINE!! But anywho. The pictures looks really cute. I haven't a clue how to cut something like that and get the right colored characters. But I am sure someone has this cart already and is about to post about it.

Day 44: SCRAPBOOKEXPO COUNTDOWN

Well features product today is Bazzill In Stitches Program. I remember when this product first came out. I wasn't interested at the time to actually sew on my paper. But now that time has passed and I have actually seen a friend Kim Rocker do it. I though it can't be that hard. And the finished look was awesome. Also Bazzill have come out with more templates to use. It is very pretty to. It isn't very expensive, and the templates are re usable. So I have decided to post this here. Cause if it is at expo this year I will be purchasing it.
Tuesday, May 26, 2009
Day 45: SCRAPBOOKEXPO COUNTDOWN
To glue or not to glue. Which one to choose? Oh well there are tons of glue guns, tape runners, tape refills, hermie, strips, dots to choose from. Who can keep up? Well I have seen in videos online lots of people are using the new glue glider pro. There ia a great sale going on here, http://zencart-template.com/cindy/glue-glider-pro-p-1107.html?zenid=c739888b366580f2ef254ba77aec3ce8

And hey we are all looking for a good bargain. Lets face it, Walmart doesn't have everything we need. You have to buy online. This glue glider pro does last a good while. It isn't that bulky or heavy to hold either. The refills may seem pricey to start but for the lasting time it's a good deal. I have the ATG Gun which is larger and I love it!!!

Well I found something that looked pretty neat on space saving
They are EK Success slimline punches. Lots of different punches to choose from. The flip flop looks to be my favorite. Although I do like the 1" scallop punch also. There is a neat storage case for them to. Pretty condensing huh? Anywho off to find more great things to tickle your EXPO taste buds.

Blog MIA
Sorry I haven't blogged lately. I have been on vacation this week. Having an ok time at my MIL. Cleaning, painting, sweeping. Wow what a fun week, NOT. LOL.
Just kidding this has been a good week. Hugh and I have managed to paint a extra bedroom, lay new carpet in there. New window coverings. Also completly clean, paint, and new floor tile in a huge utlity room. All while another crew in the house totally distroying the bathroom and the laundry room. So far no running water in 3 days in the house. Makes it tough while trying to clean I hate PINE-SOL!!!
But any way I will promise to do much better towards the weekend and then beyond. So take care have a great weekend.
Hugs to my bloggin friends

MY EMAIL BUDDIES
This to cute not to blog, Thanks goes out to my daughter Kristin.
I asked the Lord to tell me
Why my house is such a mess.
He asked if I'd been 'computering',
And I had to answer 'yes.'
He told me to get off my fanny
And tidy up the house.
And so I started cleaning up...
The smudges off my mouse.
I wiped and shined the topside.
That really did the trick....
I was just admiring my work...
I didn't mean to 'click.'
But click, I did, and oops I found
A real absorbing site.
That I got SO way into.
I was into it all night. <>
Nothing's changed except my mouse
It's very, very shiny.
I guess my house will stay a mess...
While I sit here on my hiney!!

CTMH Cube
Finally took the plunge after buying the CTMH Cube from www.bhudson.myctmh.com
I actually spent probably 2 hrs solid working on it. And it turned out great. I am planning on getting more for sure. You can make the top like a opening box and include some goodies and give as a gift. I actually secured mine close due to it sitting on my husbands desk. Hope you all get one and try it. They cost under $5 and you can cover it with your own designed papers.

Tim Holtz STAPLER "Oh Come On"
What's the big deal? It's a stapler... Why does the craft world have to go and get crazy about a stapler. But hey you can get yours today at scrapbook.com for ONLY, $15.99. Hey guess what? I can get one at the dollar tree for $1.00 and staples for $1.00. I personally think this is way overboard of scrapbook supplies. If the scrapbooking world goes nuts over this one I will be totally shocked. You can view the video here on how to use a stapler.

Coupon Craze???
Well in today's world everyone is looking for a good deal. I have signed up to so many freebies web pages it's getting ridiculous. I am in so many yahoo groups for freebies it's mind numbing. Anyway I have ran across yet another web page that seems very reputable. She gives in details of her shopping treasures as well as great links for coupons. The main thing we all need to learn is that we have to change out eating habits to accommodate whats on sale that week.
Here is the link for those that maybe interested in her offers.

MARCH 1ST SNOW (OH MY)
Well the snow here in Lagrange was just simply beautiful. I couldn't resist getting out in it and taking some pictures. Our puppy seemed to enjoy the fluffy white substance also. The kids made a snowman to. We all enjoyed getting out in it for a few min at a time. I loved coming back in the house to the pot belly stove for a nice warm up to.
