Anyone want Pears???

Hugh decided on Friday that he wanted to stop at a woman giving pears away. Well I knew I was going to have to do something with those buggers. WHEW!! Did I have a sunday off??
NOT!! Got up put the roast in oven. Went to church, (i needed it). Went to grocery store. Came home started the clothes, ate lunch. Hugh left went to his mom's. I went to Walmart, Publix, Big Lots, and Kroger. Gathering up the supplies for the making of pear relish!!
Well finally got home around 4 and started peeling pears, cutting, grinding up that crap then cooking AAAAAHHHHHH. Finally around 7pm, I was finished with 12 pints of the most beautiful stuff ever. So I spent 3 hrs today making pear relish, after all it didn't kill me. It turned out beautiful to. I have never made it!! It tastes delicious to. Not hot just sweet and spicey!!

Sweet Memories

http://www.scrapbookyoursweetmemories.com/
Well we survived the road trip. Had a great time shopping, shopping, and shopping. Oh I almost forgot we did eat. The new scrapbook store in Carrolton was beautiful. It was so dainty and cute. The crop room was very nice. The bright display showroom was perfect. Erin has a new scrapbook product line called Kaiser Scrapbook. Beautiful line of products. Erin and her mom Carolyn were so sweet. Thanks ladies for the invite to your wonderful new store. Oh Kay picked up her goodie to some "BLING-BLING". Hope you all get a chance to go and visit the store soon. Oh did I tell ya about the bathroom?

Hummmm, well maybe you just better see it yourself!!

Getting Creative

Had some time to get a little creative. Made some cards with some scraps of paper. Never thought I would be stamping or making cards. Well look at the results. Keep the scrap paper, you never know when you might need it.

Ever Had a hero?

Well I have found mine. In October 2008, my hero will have been with me for 22 years!!! That's a long time. We have had up's and down's and all arounds. But somehow we still keep keepin' on. Hugh is my hero. Through all the good, bad, and ugly he still loves me. I love him more today than 20 years ago. Our years together have really been more for the good than the bad. I love him dearly and always will. So Hugh you will always be my hero!!

I LOVE YOU, Vicki
