Hey What's Cookin?

Well I have been busy this week yet again. Totally muliated 2 more pumpkins and froze up more of the yummy goodness inside. After doing surgery on 3 pumpkins and baking and smashin up the goods I ended up with 22 pints of the yummy puree. Which is equal to 22 cans of pumpkin goodness. See the frozen goods below!!

Then after the goods ended up being frozen. I knew I had to break out the recipe books or the wonderful internet. And find something good to create. Well I did end up making 3 yummy pies. Two of them have already left the freezer along side the cool whip. Oh did I mention they have been eaten already? Then I made some yummy pumpkin bread. The mixture created so much goodie I had te break out several pans to fill er up in. So I ended up with mini loaves and muffins to. Oh yeah the large loaf has been depleated from the kitched. Along with several of the muffins and loaves. Looks like I need to get to cooking that yet again. See the before goods picture below.

Then Hugh wanted me to make some Cinnamon Butter for morning toast. Remember last week mentioning to my friends about finding a Texas Roadhouse Recipe. Well had to get to mixin that goodie up also. Can't hardly wait till morning to give that stuff a spread on some toast myself.

Then while planning my meals for the week this am. Ran off to the local Publix to get the goodsfor dinners. And I had printed earlier the recipe from Publix for a cheesecake made with cresent rolls. Yeah right I though. Where is the graham crachers?? There isn't any required. All I know is the kitchen smells of cinnaman goodness. And I am dreaming supper was over so I can scoop out the goodness. see below just out of the oven!!

Supper tonight is red beans and rice and sausage and squash maybe I will get a photo for tomorrows post.
Thanks for peeking into my kitchen today!

Trick or Treat??

I have been super itchin to make something with my new Stampin Up Two Step Owl Punch. There are tons of ideas out and about. The halloween chacters are I believe the best. Well except for Spot. Everyone say hello to Spot!! Kristin my daughter is needing something super cute to hold her co workers treats in. So I wanted to lend a helpin hand. And below are the results.

The treat bag is a 2,4,6,8 bag or box. I used Stampin Up Yo Yo Yellow, black, and whisper white cardstock. The yellow pattern paper is tiny dots from Makin Memories. I used Stampin Up Pumpkin Pie Ink. The stamped image is The Stamps Of Life, Thanks2Fall Set. The ribbon used is 1/4 black grossgrain from Walmart. This is very simple to put together. I made eight treat bags today in about 5 hours. Keep in mind I had to find some halloween paper. I didn't think I had any at all. I found one sheet of candy corn. Well thanks for looking.

My Time Made Easy Contest Entry

Created these two super cute cards using My Time Made Easy designs. I am entering the contest to be a design team member. Hopefully I will succeed. Thanks for looking.
The first card is made using the Water and Waverly Wiggles digi image. He has been colored with Stampin Up watercolored pencils. Pop dotted onto the Tasty Sampler digital paper designs and some scrap textured cardstock I also used Karen Foster brads to mount the card together. This was a very simple card to create. I was able to print, color and mount together.

This is the second card I created. Also using the same digi image Water and Waverly Wiggles. I also colored with Stampin Up colored pencils. Adhered this cutie with pop dots to retired Close To My Heart papers and scrap cardstock. The ribbon used is some generic grossgrain. Also added some fake stitching along the strip to make it pop.

Here's What's Cookin'

Well I have been hard at work this morning and for the last two weeks actually. Been canning lots of fruits and vegetables from our yard and some from farmers market. I must say it has kept me quite busy. I have found a new love I guess. To add to many other loves I enjoy. Today I canned Strawberry Fig Preserves. Whew had to get in and out of that kitchen before it got hot to. Average temperature here in Georgia has been hovering around 96... Believe me and thats hot. Steamy to, no rain for days. Nor even a good cloud cover, all sunny skies and hot ones. I canned 20 jelly jars this morning and will probably do the same tomorrow morning. Our figs are just starting to be ready for harvest so it is canning season again. Check out the fruit harvest below.
